There is no shortage of promoters, producers, and managers who will talk and promise an artist the world when in essence the most they can give them is an inflated ego with a bonus gift of empty pockets. No on can promise fame and if they do, the artist should run away, quickly. It is very easy for a new comer to get drawn into the idea of overnight success and fame by a slick-talking promoter. This is where the artist needs to be educated. It is essential that an artist be wise in the world of promotion and armed with the appropriate tools.

I am really going to shake things up a with a statement that might come across as a bit shocking. Ready? There is nothing that a promoter can do that an artist can't. Surprised? A promoter may be able to do it faster because, more than likely an artist has a day job. There is nothing that they can do that artists can't do for themselves. They have no magic wand and they have no secret path to the golden ring. There is something to be said about "who you know," but odds are most artists don't have an Artista, Sony, or a Warner Brothers employee as a relative so depending on that route is usually more heartbreak than it's worth. This site was developed to give you the tools you need to effectively promote yourself in the music industry.
